Resource Development Associate Position

 The Society for Preservation of Israel Heritage Sites (SPIHS) is a registered NGO, whose goal is to identify, restore and conserve heritage sites in Israel. The SPIHS directly manages 9 heritage sites (including the Atlit Detention Camp and the Ayalon Institute) and serves as an umbrella organization for over 200 sites throughout Israel.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Resource development, including donor-relations and social media
  • Exposing the SPIHS’s work and the various Heritage Site activities to international audiences, primarily in the US
  • Working at the main office in Mikveh Israel (near Holon) as well as at different heritage sites across Israel
  • Full-time position that requires adapting to US time (as needed)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Managing the SPIHS presence on social media in English: e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Writing content, marketing materials, PPT presentations, proposals and correspondence in English
  • Hosting missions, donors and VIPs at the various Heritage Sites across Israel
  • Initiating projects and events for the Fundraising Department
  • Working in collaboration with various SPIHS departments
  • Identifying and sending proposals to philanthropic foundations

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Academic degree
  • English mother tongue and high level of Hebrew
  • Excellent ability to write and edit professional and marketing material in English, and preferably also in Hebrew
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of interpersonal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and close familiarly with the various social media channels
  • Strong administrative capabilities                                                                        
  • Excellent command of computers. Work experience with Photoshop/Canva experience an advantage
