(On his bravery during the events of October 7, 2023)

On the morning of October 7, Dov received word that terrorists had breached the border fence. He drove to the Nahal Oz outpost and commanded a company in the fierce battle at Kibbutz Nir Am, where they ultimately succeeded in regaining control.
In his talk, Dov shares the story of the “Malchut Hermon” company, the process of recovery after losing comrades, and the challenges he faced as a young commander making life-or-death decisions under fire.
