In addition to the original buildings, there are four old train cars in the southern side of the station yard. If you face the cars, you will see on your right two freight cars that were brought here when the visitor center was built. But they were never actually used on the Valley Train line. How can you tell? By the distance of 143.5 cm between the wheels. The Valley Train tracks had a narrower width, of just 105 cm. These two cars were apparently used on the coastal railway line.
The third car, which looks as if it is hiding behind the eucalyptus tree, is also a freight car and apparently was part of the Valley Train.
The last car is a parlor car. It wasn’t didn’t travel on the Valley Train line either, but it has an interesting story, and it is currently awaiting conservation and is being prepared to be put on display. You can see a similar, restored car at the Train Museum in Haifa.
