The Water Tower - The reconstructed steam pump
The steam pump before you, is similar to the pump that was used here when the station was in operation
The purpose of the steam pump was to draw water from the well into the tanks on top of the tower
The water flowed from the tanks through t\he black pipes to the “water crane” that stood next to the tracks
The water crane is no longer at the station. but you can see it in the photos
When the train stopped at the station, the water crane filled its water tank
