This First Aliyah town has succeeded in preserving the historic seed with its unique periodic beauty and character. The Village Museum contains a variety of buildings, compounds and permanent and altering exhibitions. The permanent display at the first Officials’ House, containing exhibitions presenting the arrival of the founders, their leisure culture, daily life, “Between man and God”, the craftsmen and a reconstruction of a living room, a preserved and reconstructed historic area, the “Man as landscape of his homeland” collage exhibition, by artist Israel Levi, an exhibition of a unique farm tools collection and a smithy.
What’s at the site: a permanent exhibition, altering exhibitions, a tour through historic sites, short films.
For the general public: a guided tour at a symbolic cost takes place every first Friday of the month, at 10:00, departure from the museum. The tour is available throughout the week for groups at flexible times by advance booking.
