The Lineman’s House
On the other side of the fence, you can see another building that belongs to the Kfar Yehoshua Station.
It was built after the other buildings, in the early 1940s, during the British Mandate period, in the Arab style typical of that time. The building was built for the lineman, who was responsible for the telegraph lines and the mail at the station, and was an employee of the post office.
It is important to note that a telegraph line ran alongside the railroad tracks, as the telegraph was an important means of communication in those days.
