“A Story of Heroism and Abandonment”

Journalist Amir Tibon, a member of Kibbutz Nahal Oz, will join us to share the powerful story of the battle that took place in the kibbutz closest to Gaza, which was attacked by over 100 terrorists on Saturday, October 7th. The kibbutz lost 16 of its members, yet Amir continues to fight for the return of the hostages—including his friend, Omri Miran, and the armored corps soldiers who were kidnapped from a nearby post.

Amir will speak about the personal, and communal aspects of the tragedy, and will answer questions from the audience.
